MILITARY POLICE PAID OFF. [ Per Press Association. J CHRISTCHURCH, May 4. Thirty-two men, who did service in Samoa as military police, returned to New Zealand by the Government motorship Maui Pomare yesterday. The mon whose homes are in Christchurch, Dunedin. Wellington or Auckland camo on to Christchurch and underwent medical examination at King Edward’s Barracks last evening. They were paid off after over a year of service .and tho North Island men spent the night on the Maui Pomare which will take them back to Wellington and Auckland. The fruit brought by the boat totals 8500 cases bananas which are in excellent condition.
