THE KING'S ILLNESS
OPTIMISTIC FEELING ONLY ONE BULLETIN A DAY NOW LONDON, Jan. 9. Received Jan. 10, 1.25 a-m. The King spent a fair night. His condition this morning shows no change. Although no change or improvement has been reported since Sunday, it is authoritatively learned that the King’s condition was satisfactory throughout the dayThe feeling of hopefulness continues at the Palace. It must be remembered that progress is such that it cannot satisfactorily be measured daily. It should be measured rather week by week. The fact that only one bulletin a day is being issued is another good sign. NEW METHOD OF TREATMENT [Australian Press Assn.] Received Jan. 10. 1.13 p.m. BORDEAUX, Jan. 9. M. Max Salles, inventor of the chloro-serum and ozone treatment for pneumonia, after communication with Lord Dawson, is going to London h his apparatus for thc application of tho treatment to the king. Professor Creuchct, of Bordeaux University has confirmed conclusive results in cases of pneumonia similar to thc King’s.
