BRITAIN ACTING WITH CAUTION. [ Australian PreSs Asm. 1 LONDON, Dee. 6. Mr Locker Lampson (Foreign Undersecretary), stated i:i the House of Commens that the Geneva Protocol prohibiting the use of poison gas in war had been ratified by only six States. The British Government was not prepared to ratify the protocol unless all the other signatories were prepared to do so also. '
