Sir Harry Lauder will arrive in Wellington on Wednesday morning next from England.

The Rev. L. B. Daldy, who since his arrival in New Zealand three years ago, has been in charge of the Pitt Street Alethodist Church, Auckland, has accepted an invitation to become superintendent minister of the Wesleyan Church, Plymouth, England, Air Dalby will leave Auckland next April, arriving in Plymouth shortly after the annual Wesleyan Conference, which is to be held there in 1929
A Wellington message reports the death of Air James Edward Fulton, aged 73, one of the best known engineers in the Dominion, who was for eight years manager and locomotive superintendent ot the WellingtonAlanawatu railway. He designed and built the Kelburn Tramway at Wellington, and built many bridges for the Government and local bodies all over New Zealand. He retired from business in 1926. He leaves a widow and one daughter.
Several important changes of staff in the Customs Department are announced. Air E. T. vV. AlacLaurin, collector at Wellington, for some years, will retire on superannuation at the end of the year, and will be replaced by Air A. Paul, who is at present subcollector at Wellington. Air Paul joined the service at Dunedin in 1896. The following promotions are announced: Air G. H- Cornes, assistant sub-collec-tor at Auckland, to be sub-collector at Wellington; Air R. J. Gray, examining officer at Wellington, to be assistant sub-collector at Wellington; Mr W. N. Waugh collecting officer at Blenheim, to be examining officer at Wellington; Air C. W. Beattie, assistant-examining officer at Christchurch, to be collector at Blenheim; Mr E. G. Taylor, clerk at Wellington, to be assistant examining officer at Christchurch.
