In addition to the general programme Misses E. Larsen and L. Lyes gave a Danish dance with, much grace, and Mr Larsen sang in the Dauiuh wore ren-
dered by Mrs Goddard and Miss Violet Eastman, in a very capable manner and a iluet with Mis Eastman and .Mr L. A, Eastman was very tuneful. A comedy from ‘‘Oliver Twist,” fairly brought down the house., Nrs Goddard's rendering of “Miss Carrey” was an excellent piece of acting. Air R. Ciochetto as “Bumble” gave a fine rendering of the self-satis-fied, “pompous” beadle, while Air I. H. Lucas as “Are Old Pauper Women Skinny and Starved?” gave a faithful and most humorous characterisation of Dickons’ “Pauper,” an admirable scene with the old fashioned fireplace’ and “early Victorian pots’ (kindly lent by the boarding house), forming a splendid backgrountk An excellent supper and dance concluded the programme. The arrangements were in the hands of Mr IL Browne, who with the parents and helpers did all they could to make the evening successful.
