RADIO MUSIC BEAM. [ Australian Press Assn. 1 VANCOUVEER, Oct. 31. Through an apparatus by which an electrical impulse is controlled by a beam of light, a narrow beam was east about an Atlantic Hotel room, and changed into music and held under perfect control at will by Mr John Taylor, consulting engineer for tho General Electric Company. The equipment used is known as the photophanc, and is built on tho old principles, with a perfected photo-elec-tric tube, electric pick-up, new amplifiers and sound reproducers.
