FOUR YEARS’ GAOL
PENALTY FOR SHOOTING AT POLICE. SYDNEY, Oct. 31. Coffee was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment for shooting with intent to evade arrest. Coffee is on crutches as a result of a bullet wound in tho spine from a police revolver. He denied any intention of shooting the police, adding that his revolver went off accidentally when the police shot him down.
