RAILWAY EXCURSION The success which attended the last I excursion has encouraged the Railway Department to arrange another weekend trip to Rotorua on October 12. The train will leave Wellington at 4.30 p.m. on that date and arrive at Rotorua the following morning. The return train will leave Rotorua at 5.45 p.m. on the Sunday evening. Passengers from Wanagnui will require to travel on the outward journey by the train leaving Wanganui at 4.12 p.m. and connect with the special express train at Marton. On the return journey Wanganui passengers will join the 6.25 a.m. Marton-Wanganui train. Exceptionally cheap fares have been arranged for (half ordinary rates). Particulars are advised in this issue.
