The monthly meeting of the AVanganui East ‘A’” Branch AV.C.T.U. was held at St. Alban’s Church, Wanganui East. The meeting opened with a brief devotional service led by the superintendent. The treasurer’s report was commended by the president. It was decided that out of the proceeds of the recent concert, £3 should be given to the New Zealand Alliance, and it was also resolved that another concert should shortly be held. It was decided that commencing next month meetings be held in “Youth Hall,” Church of Christ, Afathoison Street.
