WANGANUI EAST METHODISTS.

SUCCESSFUL REVIVAL The revival of the spring flower shows of the Wanganui East Methodist Church Horticultural Society was at- ' tended with succes on Saturday. There ' were many entries and in most classes they were of a high order. Added attraction was given to the show by the display of the blooms exhibited at the National Daffodil Society’s recent show by Mr Gibson, who secured first place, and Mr Poole, who secured second place. In addition to the flowers there were some interesting classes for children. Stalls for the sale of plain and fancy work did good business during the afternoon and evening, as did also the refreshment room. The judges of the various sections were: The Rev. W.
