ADOLPHE MENJOU IN “HIS TIGER LADY”
Thirteen years ago, in the pioneer of motion pictures, Adolphe Meniou, Paramount star and appearing in his latest starring vehicle, entitled ‘•His Tiger Lady,” was playing a “bit” in Olga Petrova’s starring picture, “White Feather, F at the old World Film Studios in New York. Another of the extra players in the production was Evelyn Brent, who was then in the midst of her trying days to gain screen recognition. To-day these two artists are appearing together once again, but the status and salaries of both are vastly different from the days of 1915. Menjou is the star of “His Tiger Lady” and Miss Brent is his leading woman. Both are under contract to Paramount and the popularity of each as individual artists is growing with every picture. 3liss Brent is a featured player and has appeared in such productions as “Beau Sabreur,” “The Last Command.” “Underworld” and others. This picture will be showing at the Municipal Pictures this evening.
