“THE GOOD-BYE KISS”
“The Good-bye Kiss,” a Mack Sennett production released by First National, which introduces a number of tensely dramatic situations, relieved with laughter-provoking interludes in the best Sennett manner, promises more than ordinary picture entertainment. A newcomer, beautiful and clever, Sally Eilers interprets the leading feminine role, with proper consideration of the dramatic highlights and delicious comedy invested in the characterisation. Johnny Burke, as Johnny, the quitter who makes good, and Matty Kemp as Bill, are responsible for outstanding performances. This picture will shortly appear at the New Grand.
