Mr Ford Beaten in Race

After a seven mile game over the golf course of the Springhaven Club in Wallingford, Mr Henry Ford, who is 65 years o’.d, challenged W. W. Mitchell. general manager of the Ford plant at Chester, Pennsylvania, to a hundred yards dash.

“Shall I run my best?” Air Mitchell asked his chief. “You will have to run your best if you expect to win,” was Afr Ford’s ‘ rejoinder, and the race began. They covered the “hundred” with hats off and coat tails flying, and at the finish Air Alitchell was leading by a bare margin.
