STRIKING PORTRAITS AT BURLINGTON GALLERIES LONDON, Sept. J 3. Sir H. N. Barwell opened the largest one-man exhibition of pictures since the war at Burlington Galleries and they arc the work of Mr Scott, of New Zealand, ox-official artist in the A.I.F. There a'rc 200 paintings, many of Australian landscapes, South Australia predominating, and a number of striking portraits of famous men in Europe.
