GONVILLE CLUB SATISFACTORY YEAR REPORTED. The Gonville Bowling Club has made great strides during the past season. The membership has increased, finances are better, and the greens have been greatly improved. At the annual meeting of the club, held on Tuesday night, the President, Mr. F. Symes, stated that there was every indication that the Club would experience as successful a period during the next twelve months as had marked, the 1927-28 season. The election of officers resulted: — President, Mr. T. T. Bell; vice-presi-dent, Mr. C. Moutray; hon. secretary, Mr. W. Healey; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. B. Christiansen; sole selector, Mr F. Webb-Jones; delegates to Centre, Messrs A. Fyfe and T. Bell; committee, Messrs A. Fyfe, T. Pritchard, F. I Beard, J. McKenzie, C. Cornish, J. Steel, A. Chenery, R. Saunders and C. Evans. _
