PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION STAFF CONGRATULATED The Wanganui Technical College Parents’ Association has been in existence for some four years and has been making steady progress during that time. At the annual meeting, last night, the chairman, Mr J. Boyd, said taht although the financial balance was small, it was a credit and undoubtedly tho Association was doing good. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: President, Mr J. P. Cowie; vice-preridents, Messrs Gilmour, Milne Allan and Alesdames Boyd, Veitch and Newton; secretary, Mr Milne Allan; treasurer, Mr Gilmour; committee, Messrs Cavell, Boyd, Till, Graham, Goodey, L. Patterson, and Hutcheson, and Mesdames Bailer, Graham, Paterson, Goodey and Grover. A hearty vote of thanks accorded the retiring officers. Before tho meeting closed it was resolved that the staff of the college be congratulated on their excellent work under adverse conditions during the past year. Mr Nicholls was also to be thanked for assistance rendered.
