BUS WRECKED LEVEL CROSSING SMASH. t Per Pres* Association. J AUCKLAND, Jung 2». As the Limited express (inward bound) was passing over the double line level crossing at. Southdown, at 9.15 a.m., it collided with a bus owned by the Passenger Transport Company, and driven by E. Edwards. It was a head-on collision. Edwards jumped clear before the bus was hurled into the air. It ci.rccred some distance and was jammed into a cattle stojx Edwards was rendered unconscious, but recovered and was only slightly bruised. There were no passengers in tho bus.
