SOUTH AFRICAN MINES RECENT AGREEMENT CRITICISED [ Australian Press Assn.—United Service I CAPE TOWN. June 25. Mr Eddas, president of the Chamber of Mines, in his annual speech, severely criticised the Mozambique agreement, by which the number of natives recruited was reduced by 30.009 annually. He said that it was clear that unless a source was discovered elsewhere to fill the gaps, the position at the mines would become extremely serious.
