CHILDREN’S SHOW NIGHT FIREWORKS DISPLAY IS POPULAR DRAW Shadows cast on jostling crowds by a thousand lights gave an impression of high carnival at the Wanganui Winter Show last night. It was children’s night and ample entertainment drew large crowds. From every point of view yesterdays show attractions were popular and the attendance was gratifying to the officials.

A fireworks display, comprehensively arranged, was the main attraction last evening. This afternoon, harrier running, cycling and whippet racing will be features.
