FORGER OF BANK NOTES WOMAN TURNS CROWN EVIDENCE. [ Australian Press Assn. J AIELBOURNE, June 7. Stefan Karasicwicz was sentenced 1.0 ten years ’ imprisonment in the Geelong Court in connection with the bank note forgeries. Accused was arrested in April when plant for making notes wab aiscovered. A woman living with accused turned Crown evidence at the trial. John Howarth, Benjamin Taylor and Ralph Alillcr were found not guilty on charges of conspiring to forge bank notes and with being knowingly concerned in the forgery of five pound bank notes, and were discharged.
