Mason 5 v. G. Goebel 9, Cooper 11 v. Ellis 7, Sir J. Wilson 17 v. Mitchell 18, Young 14 v. scorer. The La/lies’ Tombstone Competition played at Bulls on Wednesday afternoon, resulted in a tie between Mrs De Burgh and- Mrs Ralfe, both going to the 19th green. Mrs McDonell was runner-up. GENERAL NEWS. This evening the Bulls Tennis Club will hold an assembly dance in the Town Hall supper room. The cribbage tournament on Wednesday evening between Carnarvon and Bulls resulted in an easy victory for Bulls by 10 games. After the tournament tue visitors fere hospitably entertained by Mr and Mrs John Tricker. Prize-winners were Messrs Jas. McKelvic and Wilson Scott, both of Carnarvon. blockhouse seniors are still at the top of the Mamawatu Soccer table, and have now a lead of 5 points on R.S.A., having won all of the games played. The juniors are doing well this season also, and so far rave only lost one match. Last Saturday the “boys” met a strong team of players from Hastings, and were unfortunate in suffering [defeat by 3 goals to 1. The Flockhouse boys attacked most of the game, but faulty “shooting” robbed them of victory. To-morrow the seniors meet Athletic, and the juniors play Rangers at the hostel. On June 20. .the senior team will play St. Andrew’s at the Manawatu Show. At some future date the boys are to meet R.S-A. at North Street Park, and the proceeds of the match wiP be allocated to the New Zealand Council. THE PICTURES. Greed!
