STAFF APPOINTMENTS GOVERNOR’S AIDE-DE-CAMP. [ British Official Wireless. J WELLINGTON, June 7. A notice in to-night’s Gazette states that Colonel 8. 8. Allen, Hauraki Regiment, relinquishes the appointment of honorary Aidg-de-Camp to the Govern-nor-Gencral. Colonel A. B. Charters, Commander Ist N.Z. Infantry Brigade, is appointed Honorary Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General. The period of command of Lieuten-ant-Colonel L. C. Chaytor, Nelson and Marlborough Mounted Rifles, is extended to May 31, 1929, and the period of command of Lieut.-Colonel H. E. Barroclough, Otago Regiment, is extended to May 31, 1929. Colonel S. 8. Allen, Hauraki Regiment, relinquishes command of the regiment and is transferred to th? Reserve. Major F. Prideaux, Hauraki Regiment, is appointed to command the regiment.
