SIR ALAN COBHAM MACHINE STILL IN FIRST RATE CONDITION [ British Official Wireless. ] RUGBY X June 6. Sir Alan Cobham and Lady Cobham are making a quick tour of the English seaports in the flying boat in which they have just completed their African survey tour. They left Rochester yesterday and Hull this morning, the machine carrying eight passengers. Although it has covered 23,000 miles and has been flown for 250 hours in all climates, the machine and the two Rolls Roycc-Condor engines of 550 horse-power each are still in first rate condition.
