THE OAMARU CLUB WINTER MEETING HELD ( Per Press Association. J OAMARU, May 19. The Oamaru Trotting Club’s winter meeting was held tiiday in perfect weather. The track was in excellent order and there was a large attendance. The totalisator handled £21,679 10s, compared with £20,454 10s last. year. Results:— Innovation Handicap.—3 Nelson’s Prince 1, 8 Lonesome 2, 17 Leo Bollman 3. Length and a-half; ten lengths. Time 3.41 2-5. Advance Handicap.—l Return Voyage 1, 3 Grandlight 2, 4 Madame Locanda 3. Length; half a length. Time 3.39 2-5. President’s Handicap.—2 Jolly Pet J, 3 Shadowland 2, 13 Lenamhor 3. Three lengths; neck. Time 4.36 2-5. Papakaio Handicap.—l John Dee 1, 1 Nihilist Junior 2, 5 Florrie Pointer 3. Length each way. Time 2.56. Waikaura Handicap.—l Norwood Bells 1, 3 Avalanche 2, 7 Trampcrisp 3. Three lengths each way. Time 4.40. Enfield Handicap.—s Harry Audubon 1,2 Arran Chief 2, 13 Locanda General 3. Length each way. Time 2.35 3-5.
