ELEMENT OF MYSTERY WOMAN’S HUSBAND ARRESTED [ Australian Press Assn. ] SYDNEY, May 18. Mrs Sarah Delaney, aged 33, was found dead at her home at Granville suburb on Wednesday with :.n element of mystery surrounding her death. The police have now arrested her husband, John Delaney, aged 63, a bag merchant, on a charge of murder. The medical examination disclosed that the woman was murdered in a revolting manner, recalling the Long Bay horror a few years ago, but the police have not yet found the instrument which inflicted the terrible internal injuries. Deceased left several thousand pounds sterling. The police, who discovered a quantity of burst papers under a copper, assert that Delaney and his wife had lived unhappily.
