MINISTERS SHORT

AUSTRALIAN CONDITIONS THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH [ Australian Press Assn. ] SYDNEY, May 18. An acute shortage of ministers was a complaint by the Rev. D. J. Flockhart, in presenting the report of the Home Mission Committee to the Presbyterian General Assembly. He added “It is sad to think that the Presbyterian Church has lost its grip on the State. It is a question of men, not money. If those conditions continue the church will have to go out of business." The report stated that 28 charges were without ministers, and fully 40 additional ministers were required.
