SOLDIER MISSING RETURNED WOUNDED FROM WAR [ P«r Press Association. 1 HAMILTON, May 18. A New Zealander, when returning from the war wounded, was taken to hospital at Adelaide, some nine years ago, and since then his ••elatives have been unable to learn anything of his fate. The soldier was Percival West. His father, Andrew West, of Morrinsville, left for Australia for the second time on Wednesday in the hope of tracing his son. When the war broke out Percival West was in Australia and joined one of the first Australian regiments. He was thrice vonnded, but continued on active service through the war. When peace was declared West, suffering from the effects of a wound, was shipped back and sent to hospital at Adelaide. From there he last wrote to his people. Mr West, senior, went to Australia, intending to bring his son back, but could find no trace. The father has now provided himself with papers from the Defence Department and is going to Australia to renew the search.
