FIGURE FATAL SMASH TRAGEDY IN BALGOWNIE SWAMP The fourth occupant of t.he car which crashed from Heads Road. into the Balgownie swamp on Thursday night is now stated to he Roderick Munro, of the Metropolitan Hotel. As reported yestercay, he escaped unhurt and assisted Mr Ernest F. Cross, of Castlecliff, to remove Mr Walter H. Scott, draper of Aramoho, from beneath the car where he was pinned and drowned. Two other occupants of the car. Miss Maude Stone, who suffered from abrasions and shock, and Mr Thomas Dillon, who had two bones of the right arm broken arc in a satisfactory condition, it was last night reported from the Wanganui Hospital.
