DOESN’T LIKE CARS
VERY CONSERVATIVE MAN THIRTY, AND HAS NOT HAD A DRIVE To find a man who is thirty years of age, and has lived in busy centres since cars came into universal use without having driven one, must be considered unusual in these days of whirring, purring automobiles. But strangest of all, the man in question has no desire for car travel. He is conservative and says he hates the sight of cars. It was a “Chronicle” man who found the car-hater in Wanganui yesterday. Beyond saying that he had not ridden in a car and did not want to, the resident would tell .nothing more about his peculiarity, if it may be called such. ‘Perhaps I will ride in a car one day,” he said.
