ATHLETICS

WITH THE HARRIERS RUN THIS AFTERNOON To-day, Saturday, the harrier run will be held from St. George’s School baths at 2.30 p.m. Last Saturday saw a record attendance and this should be eclipsed to-day as several men will be turning out could not last Saturday. Footballers who care for a run are welcome. On June 9 next, the first big race of the season against Masterton takes place and intending starters are now beginning to train seriously during the week as well as Saturdays. The run to-day will be over the course picked out for the West Coast and New Zealand championships.
