AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY DR. page voices opinion (A. & N.Z.) MELBOURNE, April 19. Speaking at the annual convention of the Victorian Chamber of Agricul- | ture, Dr. Earle Page said that despite increase' markets the position of the farmer had continually declined. This was mainly duo to the agricultural industry not being organised on the lines of other industrial concerns. The convention passed a resolution requesting the Federal Ministry to appoint a commission representing the primary producers to consider ami report on the economic conditions of markets and primary production generally.
