BRUNSWICK

MEETING OF FARMERS’ UNION. The annual meeting of the Brunswick branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union there was a good attendance. The chairman (Air T. Currie) reported that the membership continued to increase. Last year there were 5S financial members, and one unfinancial. This year there were 60 financial and two unfinancial members. During the year one member had died and two had left the district, but five new members had joined. The branch had entered two teams for the AVanganui provincial shooting match, and finished equal for first place, the B team w'inning the cup on the count back. The election of officers resulted:Chairman, Air T. Currie; vice-chair-man, Air A. N. Cave; secretary, Air G. Crawley; treasurer, Air J. Currie; delegate to Interprovincial Conference, F. X. Huwyler; committee, I Alessrs J. G. Campbell, E. R. Nicholson, C. Jonsen, C. K. Ross and AA'. Ross.
