[ Special ’* Chronicle ” Service ] AUCKLAND, March 30. “No leniency whatever should be shown to any person convicted of intoxication while driving a motor car,” is the opinion of the Auckland Automobile Association, as expressed by the secretary, Air G. W. Hutchison, at a meeting of motorists. This sentiment was applauded; by hundreds of motorists present. Air Hutchison said there were far too many accidents and 23 persons were killed in Auckland last year.
