KRASSIN “MILLIONS”
HYPOTHETICAL FORTUNE PARIS, March 4In a letter published in the Echo de Paris to-day, M. Bergery, the wellknown French international lawyer, who some time ago married Mlle. Krassin, daughter of the late M. Krassin, once Soviet Ambassador in London, protests against the reports that M. Krassin left a fortune.
“The child of 17 whom I married some months after the death of tier father,” he writes, “inherited from him neither £3,000,000, as was attributed to her by part of the British Press and by notices posted in Paris, nor 3,000,000 f, of which certain French newspapers spoke, \ot yet 3f. She inherited nothing, and married me without a dowry. I am prepared to stake on this affirmation the whole of irj political life.’’
