YOUTHS IN COURT “BORROWED” CARS AND BROKEN LETTER BOXES [ Per Press Association. ] DUNEDIN, Dec. 1. Six youths, whose ages range from 16 to 21, were charged at the Police Court with conversion of motor cars. For some months cars have been taken from parking places, and accused when arrested admitted the charges. Other charges are pending, including breaking open letter boxes and stealing the contents. Two admit driving cars round to letter boxes, and breaking them open, also to driving to Company’s Bay and breaking and entering a erib and stealing goods. They were remanded till Wednesday.
