ROSIER CHEEKS
CHILDREN AT HEALTH CAMP FRUIT AND VEGETABLES WANTED The children’s health camp at Turakina is maintaining the high reputation of previous undertakings of its kind. Fresh air and a well-regulated life are bringing a bloom to the children’s cheeks, and the little ones are all well and happy. Visitors to the camp have been numerous on the allotted days, and they have been loud in their praise of the work Dr. Elizabeth Gunn is doing. The doctor states that of the 664 children who have attended the camps, there is not one who has not improved in health and a record kept of the children shows that in nearly all cases they have maintained that improvement in subsequent years.
To-morrow and Sunday are visiting days at the camp an*d/ the hope is expressed that those bringing gifts will not forget the value of fruit and vegetables- Dr. Gunn wishes to thank parents who have already accorded with her wishes in this respect and brought produce of this nature, instead of taking sweets and cake.
