CUT FAMOUS CANVAS TO OBTAIN FOOD
Received Nov. 15, 1 a.m. (A. & N.Z.) PARIS, Nov. A sensation was caused in the Louvre when Latreille, a butcher, slashed with a razor Le Main’s fampicture, “Family Reunion,’’ valued at £B5OO. He said he had had nothing to eat for two days and wanted to be arrested and fed. The picture is slashed in many places, but the cuts are clean and will probably be fairly easily paired.
