SHADOWED JURORS SENSATIONAL CHARGES BY DETECTIVES (A. & N.Z.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 7. Williams Burna, head of the detective agency, called before the Grand Jury to explain the activities of his agents in shadowing the oil trial jurors made sensational charges that “only the Government had attempted to tamper with the jury.

Burns declared that his men had filed with Justice Siddons an affidavit and complaint asserting that a Government officer in a Government automobile visited the local flying field and approached one of the jurors. Burns amplified his statement in an interview following h.is appearance before the Grand Jury, but when asked what juror was approached and by whom, he replied shortly: “Find out from the Judge.”
