SUMMER-TIME AND OVERTIME
Sir, —-Now that the workers have t 4 'commence their duties an hour earlier, especially the shop assistants, I think it will be up to the inspector, whoever he may be, to see that the assistants are allowed to get away at their proper time, and those who have to work back at nights, especially this time of the year, get their overtime paid to them. Why I write is that I have heard rumours that some of the assistants are not paid their proper overtime. SHOP ASSISTANT. November 6.
