That the Church of EngJan»i should establish a radio broadcasting station in Christchurch for the dcssemination of church services was a proposal placed before the Christchurch Diocesan Synod last n.ght. The Synod- referred the matter to the standing committee, with power to appoint an external committer. Bishop West-Watson said that wireless had come to stay and by establishing a station the church would only be working in with, the .people. They should not axlopc <4ic attitude taken up when steam-engines were introduced.
