There was a very good -demand for sheep and pigs and cattle sold at late rates. CLEARING SALE Dalgety and; Co. report. There was a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr A. W- Blanchard, Bulls on. Thursday. Competition was keen throughout and the following are quotations:—Late calving cows £4 10s, £5 15s, £6, £7, £7 ss, £8 to £8 10s; others £9, £9 ss, £lO, £lO ss, £lO 15s, £ll, £ll 10s, £l2, £l3, £l3 15s, to £l5 15s. FEILDING SALE Dalgety and Co. report: There was a good yarding of fat sheep and a small entry of stores at the Feilding sale on Friday. There was also a large entry of dairy cattle and a small entry of fat and store cattle yarded, good dairy heifers and cows at d-rop meeting with keen demand.
