Messrs Dalgety and Company Limited report having received the following cablegram from their London House dated August 11: — Butter.—We quote Danish 176 s to 178 s (166 s to 168 s); New Zealand finest salted 168 s to 170 s (162 s to 1665); Australian finest unsalted 172 s (164 s to 168 s, salted 168 s to 170 s (162 s to 1665). Cheese. —Market quiet. We quote New Zealand cheese, white and coloured, 91s to 93s (91s to 935), spot price for Canadian white and coloured 90s to 94s (90s to 945); c.i.f. price for Canadian 92s to 94s (93s to 965).
