IS GIVEN NO TRIAL SPENDS MONTH IN GAOL LONDON, July 25. After being detained in Puerto Cabello (Venezuela) without trial for over a month, Captain Brining, of Liverpool, the master of the British steamer Ninian, has been released. He is now at the house of the British Consul (says a cable received in t-His country). Captain Brining was imprisoned after a collision between the Ninian .and a mooring vessel which resulted in the death of a Venezuelan boatman. Representations were made on the detained captain’s behalf to the Foreign Office, and the matter was raised in the House of Commons. The British Minister at Caracas was instructed to take what steps he could unofficially to expedite the hearing of the charge brought against Captain
