NARROW ESCAPE
ROTORUA MOTOR COLLISION ROTORUA. Aug. 8. A collision between a motor-cycle ridden by P. Maloney and a service car driven by William Gilbertson, at the of Amoh-v. and Fenton ■mreets resulted in Maloney being sent to hospital with a broken leg. He was carried some distance by the car and had a narrow escape. BURGLARS’ GOOD HAUL DRAPERY SHOP THEFTS CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 8.
