The results of the New Zealand Inter-Club PJhotographic Societies’ annual competition, judged here this year, are:—Dunedin, 889 points; Auckland, 776; Wellington Camera Club, 720; Invercargill, 717; Timaru, 662; Christchurch, 599. THREE LADS REMANDED ALLEGED SERIES OF OFFENCES. GISBORNE, Aug. 8. Richard Leach, aged 19, charged in the Police Court with breaking and • entering the premises of Hawkins, storekeeper, and stealing 1500 cigarettes, 59 packets of tobacco, 82 tins of tobacco, and ten shillings in cash, and two other lads, similarly charged last week, were all remanded till Friday.
