There is widespread interest in the official announcement of the Bleachers’ Association that they are now treating cotton in such a mannuer as to give it the appearance and feel of wool. Details of the process are not available, but experiments have been proceeding for some time with various chemical treatments, following the ap plication of nitric acid.
