The epidemic of suicides among students continues, and the' total is now 28. The deaths are causing increased anxiety. The latest is a Princetown honour student, Bruce Wilson, son of a wealthy manufacturer, who drank iodine land then hung himself in a college room, leaving no explanation, though he was despondent over ill-health. Dr. Fredcrickfl Robinson, a leading sociologist, advances the following method to prevent additional tragedies: Wholesale physical exercises and paternal discipline must be maintained. The student should not be allowed to read philosophy, behavioristic psychology, cr social science until maturing. Sensational reports of suicides tending to impel others to the same act should be suppressed.
