Bowling.—Mailey, six for 99; Everett, two for 76. Australia in the second innings made 117 for 3 wickets. (Ryder in 55, Woodfull in 29). Bowling.—McNamee three for 46. Australia won by seven wickets. To-day’s play was again spoiled by showery weather, and the Best of Australia wickets fell quickly till O’Connor and Smith me de a stand and put on 97 for the eighth wicket. O’Connor batted brilliantly for his century. The attendance was 3000.
