Sir Joseph and Lady Davies, of England, are staying at Hotel Bracbura.
Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Gibbons, of Napier, who have been visiting Wanganui for the races, returned to Hawke’s Bay yesterday.
Mr F. Ambrose, late of the Post and Telegraph Office staff, Wanganui, and now of Hawera, was in the city during the week-end.
Mr A. R. Donaldson leaves for Auckland this morning. While in the northern city he will attend the conference of New Zealand Rotary Clubs as one of the delegates of the Wanganui Rotarv Club.
Mr. C. O’Connor, starter for the Wanganui Jockey Club at its recent meeting, who took ill suddenly on Saturday, has improved slightly in condition. It will probably be several days, however, before Mr. O’Connor will make a complete recovery.
