OVERTIME STRIKE
POSITION STILL UNCHANGED A CONFERENCE ARRANGED MELBOURNE, Dec. 7. The strike position at Yallourn fs unchanged, but a conference between the commissioners and the Trades Hall Dispute Committee has been arranged for to-day. Both sides are hopeful that a settlement will be reached. The cessation of coal cutting operations will begin to affect the power house after the end of this week unless a settlement is reached. Restrictions on the consumption of electricity will then be enforced.
